18th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE - WEAR OF MATERIALS

Philadelphia, USA
3rd – 7th April 2011

The 18th Wear of Materials conference will focus on both the fundamental and applied aspects of wear and friction of materials. Particular emphasis will be placed on wear issues in harsh environments, energy conversion. Debris particle generation and its impact on the environment will also be a subject of special focus.

SAIT TRIBOLOGY 2011

Pretoria, South Africa
5th- 7th April 2011

The South African Institute of Tribology (SAIT) held its first international tribology conference in 1986. The 10th International Tribology Conference will be held at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. The official language of the conference will be English. Prof B. SERBIATRIB ’11

(Kragujevac, Serbia)
11th- 13th May 2011

Serbiatrib 11 is being organised by the Serbian Tribology Society and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Kragujevic. The meeting will address a wide range of topics within tribology including: fundamentals of friction and wear, tribology of machine elements, tribology in manufacturing process and nano and micro tribology.

3rd INTERNATIONAL ROAD SURFACE FRICTION CONFERENCE

The third meeting of the international Road Surface Friction conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove in Queensland, Australia. The meeting will address the theme "safer road surfaces" with a view to examining those factors which lead to effective management of road friction and positive road safety outcomes.

66th STLE ANNUAL MEETING AND EXHIBITION

The 66th STLE Annual Meeting and Exhibition will cover a broad spectrum of tribological topics. More than 350 technical papers are scheduled to be delivered. The meeting includes an exhibition of products and services and offers an excellent opportunity for networking.

ECOTRIB 2011 AND VIENNANO ‘11

Vienna, Austria
7th – 9th June 2011

ECOTRIB and Viennano will take place together in the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna over the period 7th June 2011 to 9th June 2011, almost ten years after the second World Tribology Congress was hosted in Vienna in 2001.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON BIOTRIBOLOGY

18th – 21st September 2011

A new meeting focussing on the wide range of topics relevant to biotribology will take place at Imperial college, London, UK during September 2011.

Contributions are from scientists, engineers and clinicians working in the fields of: orthopaedic surgery, dentistry, biomechanics, biomaterials, cosmetic chemistry, biophysics and bio-mimetics. The call for abstracts closes on 15th April 2011.
